ROASTED-GARLIC ASPARAGUS
.INGREDIENTS
- a half-cup of extra-virgin olive oil
- 8 minced fresh garlic cloves
- 1 tsp onions powder
- 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
- 2 pounds thin asparagus, trimmed ends
- Fleur de sel, also known as coarse sea salt, is a type of sea salt.
- black pepper, freshly ground
PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Using parchment paper, line a large jelly-roll pan. Place aside.Key-lime-pie.
In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, warm the oil, garlic, onion powder, and parsley. Cook for 3 minutes, or until the garlic mixture is fragrant but not browned.
Arrange the asparagus in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Season with coarse sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste. Drizzle the garlic-oil mixture on top.
Roast the asparagus for 8-10 minutes, or until bright green; do not overcook.
Serve immediately on a platter. Have fun with it!!
